Data controller

The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), as ECLIPSE coordinator and website operator, is the controller for personal data processed through this website. NKUA can be contacted at 30 Panepistimiou Street, 106 79 Athens, Greece. Data-protection enquiries may be sent to dpo@uoa.gr.

The public website is designed to minimise personal-data collection. No analytics or advertising cookies are currently used. If optional analytics are introduced in the future, they will remain disabled unless and until the visitor gives prior consent.

The website uses only strictly necessary technologies that support its basic operation, security and authenticated access to the private project repository. These do not require consent. The public cookie notice stores a device-local preference after it is dismissed so that it is not shown on every visit. No advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies are used.

Events, schools and evaluation

Registration, consent, photography and evaluation data are handled under dedicated notices and GDPR-compliant procedures. Data relating to children is subject to safeguarding, consent or assent, data minimisation, access controls and defined retention periods.

Private repository

The repository requires authenticated project-member access. File metadata records the uploader and upload time for project management and accountability. Repository content is not exposed on public pages.
